Batman: Bad Blood

Batman: Bad Blood is one of two films set during the Damien Wayne Robin era of Batman. It features appearences by many old and new faces. Bringing back C list villains such as Mad Hatter, Killer Moth, Tusk, and many others Batman is paired against insatiable odds. It also marked the mainstream debut of the characters Heretic, Batwing, and Batwoman.

Like usual, my favorite part of this film was its dark tone. Batman is by far the alpha of dark heros in the DC universe. Though not as dark as the recent "Killing Joke" animation Bad Blood is one of the top five darkest Batman animated films to date. An impressive fact for the caped crusader.

One thing I didn't like about the movie was its lack of characters. While the roster DID feature interesting personalities and I did like Iron Man concept for Batwing. I can't help but feel disappointed with not seeing Red Hood( aka Jason Todd ) make an appearence. Not to mention waiting to bring in Batgirl at the films finale was weak.

Alright! This concludes my review of Batman: Bad Blood. Amazing film in the long run. Definitely a recommended must see for hardcore fans. I give Batman: Bad Blood a 9.5 / 10.
