Captain America: The First Avenger
HELLOOO and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I'm Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. In todays review we travel to the past to learn the origins of Americas greatest hero. Before we continue, let me lay out the ground rules. Firstly, all content within this blog is expressly the opinions of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, lets begin. Shall we?
Captain America: The First Avenger chronicles the beginning of Steve Rogers's, aka Captain America, journey from a simple man to a living legend. The film uses amazing elements of action and storytelling to truly bring life to the characters history. All leading up to his inevitable future.
The highest point for me in this film was their dedication to detail. Paramount Pictures put great effort in bringing Marvel president Stan Lee's vision to the big screen. One can only imagine the work that went into each set and costume design. Like stepping back in time.
As good as the film was, however, there was still one major flaw to it. The story. Don't get me wrong. It was epic. But it deviated at major points and kinda twisted the characters history. Though given the amount of buzz the film got I think we can let it slide....At least until Civil War.
Alright! This concludes my review of Captain America: The First Avenger. Definitely a must for anyone into the films. I highly recommend watching it first. I give Captain America: The First Avenger a 9 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also be sure to follow the blog for more updates.
