My Little Pony: Friends Forever Issue #6

HELLOOO everybody and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. In todays review, it's time for a royal rescue with a sleight of hand and the speed of sound. Before we begin, however, there are a few rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

Friends Forever #6 iss the 6th issue of the IDW Publishing's comic series. Combining the talents of writer Thom Zahler and veteran artist Agnes Garbowska, the story follows the most unlikely duo on a desperate mission. After receiving a royal summons from the far off land of Dimondia to put on a performance. Upon arrival she's shocked to find Trixie in charge of the Diamond Dogs. Now the two have to plan a daring escape all while entertaining a hostile crowd. Can they do it? Or will this be Trixies final curtain call?

As exciting as that recap sounds, the comic could be way better. But then again what else can expect from the two biggest ego's in the show? I mean if it wasn't for Garbowska's artwork this issue probably wouldn't be getting a review. And I hate leaving material out.

As obnoxious as this pair was,I'm surprised this had an underlying lesson to it all. Don't let your ego get out of hoof. Cuz it can put you in some dangerous positions. Like being the ruler of sentient yet mentally challenged subspecies.

Frankly, I regret nothing when I say that this terrible idea to ever consider. Especially given how bad the characters can be individually. Pairing them up just makes the issue worse. What's more it's like pairing Godzilla against Godzilla. A good idea on paper turned nightmare in post.

Alright! This concludes my review of Friends Forever #6. I honestly don't wanna recommend this atomic ego bomb to anypony. I give this issue a 3 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also, don't forget to follow us for more updates. Got a suggestion for a review? Leave it in the comments section down below.
