Ratchet and Clank the movie

In todays review we turn back time as we look at a film dedicated to a beloved game series. Before we continue let me lay out the ground rules. Ratchet and Clank the movie. A film dedicated to an iconic game series. A classic developed by Sony entertainment. The film picks just before the series's first installment. Can you say origin stories?

The first thing that caught my eyes was the attention to detail in ots animation. Blending a combination of the games original cinematic with 3D imaging to bring new life to the classic characters. Definitely something to fill fans of the first game with wonder and nostalgia. A definite plus from any audience.

Speaking of characters, the film also featured an impresive roster of celebrity voices. Including favorites like John Goodman, Vincent Tong, and even Rocky himself. Sylvester Stallone. And thats just to name a few.

Of course like anything else aimed at younger audiences the film also featured a deep lesson in heroism. You don't have to do big things to be a hero. Even the smallest gesture can make a big difference in someones life.

Unfortunately, the film also had a minor flaw. There wasn't that much of a build up to the plot. At some point fans easily knew what to expect before it even happened. While thats not neccessarily a bad thing it's still worth mentioning.

Alright! That was my review of Ratchet and Clank the movie. I actually liked this film. Especially the whole "unlikely hero's" theme it follows. I definitely recommend this to anyone who played the original games or who just wanna share some nostalgia with the new generation. I give Ratchet and Clank the movie a 9.5 / 10.
