Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery

Today we lace up our boots to layeth the smackdown on this review. Before we begin, lets review the rules. Firstly, all contents within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery is the first in a long run of WWE / Hanna Barbara crossover films. Most of which featured a handful of a - list superstars and a lot of b - listers. May super Cena have mercy on my soul.

Okay to start the film did have some interesting scenes and cameos. Though it wasn't the full roster there were notable cameos from  legends like Slaughter, Jimmy Hart, and Jerry Lawler as well as stars like John Cena, Triple H, and many more. And that's not including the hijinks.

Unfortunately, this films negatives outweighed the positives. Ranging from knock - off entrance videos to forced dialogue there was no shortage of cringe here. On top of that the televised version was altered to remove any reference to wrestlemania period. For a Scooby Doo film this movie falls way under the bar for my expectations. And that's not exactly a good thing.

Alright! This concludes my review of Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery. While the superstar themes were cool I fear this movie left too much unexplained.
