One Year Special: Culture's Origins

HELLOOO everybody and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. Today, we celebrate the next milestone in our journey. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or othrwise, don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

Well here we are. The biggest moment aside from reaching 200 entries. One year ago today, I started this blog as a way to give back to the fandom while expressing my own views on things. Honestly, I never thought I'd get this far or even that I'd have something planned. Now, normally every Wednesday I give you guys my insight on the next episode of MLP. Which I'll be getting to next week. But because today is so special I decided I'd give you readers something special in return. Today I'm bringing you the biggest secret to this blog yet. The origins of Culture Shock. Now please note that this is only the first draft to it so may end revising it for a future milestone. With that said, please sit back and relax as I tell you the trials and tribulations of your favorite cultural anthopologist:

" Culture Shock was born the oldest of two siblings. His father, Brimstone, was a noble dragon who sought peace between his  kind and ponies. And his mother, Timber Heart, was a gentle Earth Pony who cared for the wildlife and her family. His younger brother, Thrayne, coming only two years after.

Growing up, Culture was always picked on because of being different from others his age. Due to this, he would always struggle to make friends. Mostly due to his reclusive nature and strange mentality. Overtime, however, Culture developed a fondness towards the cultural arts and it's various forms. Preferably pop culture. And as time went on, the young colt drake met and befriended countless and wonderfully unique friends who also shared in his passion.

After graduating from his local high school, and with his parents encouragement, Culture set out abroad to study and learn everything he could about unversal culture and how it connected everyone. All while aiding warring nations in the process.

All was going well till a brush with death in Yakyakistan would sideline Cultures journey. Not one to be deterred, the young dracostallion poured his efforts into recovering. And, after a long struggle, he once again sat out to share his findings with others.

Upon his eventual return, Culture met a young unicorn named Rei with whom he would grow close to overtime. Finally at peace. Culture was at last content with his life. Feeling that nothing would ever change it.

Alas, all good things would only last so long. Eventually, tragedy would strike again. This time claiming the life of Culture's beloved mother, Timber Heart. Grief stricken, Culture began to slowly shut himself off from the rest of the world.

Thankfully, with the help of his good friends and his loving marefriend, he was able to move on. Now Culture spends his days blogging about pop culture and living his life one day at a time."

Alright! This concludes todays entry. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also, don't forget to follow us for more updates. Got a suggestion for a review?
