To Love the Moon by Baxter1984

HELLOOO everybody and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. In todays review, we learn strong bonds can form long before we know they're there. Before we begin, however, there are some rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know. Wiyth that said, let's begin. Shall we?

To Love the Moon is a romantic AU shipfic written by Baxter1984. Set somewhere between season 5 & mid - season 6, the story focuses on the growing relationship of Twilight Sparkle and Prince Artemis, Lunas male counterpart. After rescuing Prince Artemis from his inner evil, Night - Terror Knight,  Twilight steps up to help heal the young princes deepest scars. However, long forgotten emotions arise. Leaving both ponies questioning how they feel. Will the new couple survive? Or will this obstacle prove too much for the both of them?

So, as I stated above this story is set in an Alternate Universe. Though not too different from what we already know, in this story the mysterious and enchanting Luna is replaced by her stalwart and edgy male counterpart, Prince Artemis. Of course this means instead of Nightmare Moon we get the even more terrifying Night - Terror Knight instead. As well as another surprising twist you'll have to see to believe.

Currently, the story spans an incredible 46 chapters and counting. But that aside there  are some slight hiccups in the story structure. This includes poorly placed cliffhangers, confusing POV's, and some minor grammar issues. Though the problems diminish little by little as the chapters progress. Which, all things considered, has no lasting effects to the storyline of structure. Now if only there was ending to wrap up this thrilling and romantic roller coaster of creativity.

Alright! This concludes my review of To Love The Moon by Baxter1984. A wonderful read for mature audiences and well reccomended even in its incomplete state. I give this ffic an 8 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also, don't forget to follow uss for more updates. Got a suggestion for a review? Leave it in the comments section down below.
