[Season 2] Episode 23: Ponyville Confidential....ly in ya biz

In todays review, we go behind the scenes to see how deep news media really goes. However, before we begin there a few rules. Ponyville Confidential is the 23rd episode of season 2 and the 49th overall. Written by co - creator M. Aa. Larson, the episode follows the CMC on yet another difficult cutie mark quest. While trying their hooves at journalism, the crusaders open a gossip column for their school newspaper. But when the wrong secrets start getting out the trio's left with  a difficult choice to make. Will they set things right? Or does fate have other plans for them?

So, this episode happened. Yeah. Not really much to say behind it aside from the normal opinions. But that's what you usually get from a pre - mark CMC episode.

Personally though, I did still like the hidden lesson. Gossip is a powerful weapon that can destroy a persons reputation. It's fine to spread a few rumors in good taste. But when if its at the expense of someone elses misery then it's never okay.

Biased thoughts aside, did feel this was a bit mellow in the approach while at the same time it wasn't afraid to pull any punches in terms of real life media. Revealing not only how journalists will do anything to get a story but also that they don't care who they step on to get it. Touché Larson you inglorious genius. Now write mne a blasted Sunset episode already.

Alright! This concludes my review of Ponyville Confidential. Imo not really the best highlight for a PMZ style episode. I only reccommend this if you can stomach the trashy lies.
