[Season 3] Episode 3: Too Many Pinkie Pies.... and not enough me to go around

HELLOOO EVERYBODY and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. In todays review, we learn what it truly means to be an army of one. However, there are a few rules to go over before we get started. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it EVER, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice ANY mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

Too Many Pinkie Pies is the 3rd episode of season 3 and the 55th episode overall. Written of course by Dave Polsky, the story features Pinkie Pie doing what she does best. Unable to spend time with everyone she cares for, Pinkie devises a plan to be in two places at once. Things start out okay until eventually Ponyville is overrun by Pinkies. Only Twilight can solve this dillemma. But one question still remains. Who is the real Pinkie?

Ah. Episode 3 and it's already one of my favorites. Aside from its character focus, Too Many Pinkie Pies makes for a nice Scifi / thriller episode. The dialogue was fun and inventive. And the episode made for some hilarious fan theories. Like how one can only imagine how Equestria would look if Twilight failed and the Pinkies continued...... slight nightmare fuel.

To better quote Pinkie Pie, I think the lesson here is to not overdo things. No one can please everyone they could try but real friends learn to compromise. Learn to better manage your schedule. You can't have time for everyone but you can plan things out better. That way you have time to enjoy the moments you share with each of them.

Fanboying aside, I will.admit this episode did lack the subtle anti - climactic ending as her previous episodes. But it was still enjoyable in most scenes and managed to capture her inner spirit most of all. And I look  forward to her next episode.

Alright! This concludes todays review. Definitely a fan favorite in my book and well worth its recommendation. I give this episode a 9.5 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review.
