The Homesteading by bookplayer

HELLOOO EVERYBODY and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. In todays review, we learn how home isn't always where the heart is. However, there are a few rules to go over before we get started. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It  does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice ANY mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

The Homesteading is a mystery romance written by bookplayer. With an audio adaption by Scribbler Productions. After settling into a new place on Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight and her new begin their preparations for the upcoming Hearth's Warming. But as things get underway strange things begin to unfold. Primarily around a certain purple unicorn. Can Twilight solve this mystery? Or has her dream home become a nightmare?

Okay, first off I wanna apologize for posting this late. I originally planned to review near the end of season 2 but had to reschedule due to technical errors and lack of full motivation. As for the story itself though, I admit to not exactly reading the fic itself. Honestly, I only caught the story when the audio drama was posted some years back. Though to be fair, the voice work and sound effects wonderfully enhanced yet an intriguing romantic thriller. Kudos to Scribbler Productions and friends for such a wonderful job.

Frankly, I feel the best lesson here is that home is where the heart is. It's not in the building you live in. But in the company you keep and in the  memories and traditions you share.

Surprisingly, there weren't really any plot holes to this story. The characters paired nicely, the story was well written, and the atmosphere it produces will bring anyone to tears. Truly a heartwarming tale of love, loss, and redemption.

Alright! This concludes my review of The Homesteading. A solid read worth a solid recommendation. And a shoutout once again to Scribbler Productions for an amazing job narrating this. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also, don't forget to follow us for more updates. Got a suggestion for a review? Leave it in the comments section down below.
