Top 5 Worst Villains in MLP

HELLOOO everybody and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. Today, I give you 5 of the worst villains to appear in MLP. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, don't hesitate to let me know. Also an extra reminder, this list will not feature any specific order. And should only be taken as opinion, not fact. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

So, nothing makes a good fantasy series without a good villain. They're the main reason for the hero's purpose and the factor that helps keep the world in balance. However, sometimes we get a villain that falls short of the image. Here are my top 5 picks for Worst Villain in MLP. Let's begin:

1. The Flim Flam Brothers-
As far as obvious cons may go, these two ponies take the cake and then some. The duo made their debut in season 2. In an episode titled "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" and have since then made small appearances in 2 more episodes and a single comic arc. What makes these 2 so terrible is less due to.their intentions and more to do with their subtlety. Honestly, if you wanted to be more obvious then just slap a label on them that says certified  generic villain for Luna's sake.

2. The Storm King-
Now this one should come at no surprise given his lack of screentime. The Storm King was introduced as the impromptu villain of this years MLP movie. Granted the characters limited lines and his otherwise obnoxious attitude. It's no wonder he made the list. Frankly, I think Tempest made a better villain than Storm King anyday.

3. Iron Will-
Similar to Flim.and Flam. Iron Will was  an obnoxious pain rather than a true villain. First appearing in the episode "Putting Your Hoof Down", Iron Will made his name by offering things like a motivational speaking and impromptu cruises with royalty. Both of which ended with Iron Will exposed as easily as Flim and Flam. Said considering how threatening minotaurs usually are.

4. Starlight Glimmer-
Now before I get railroaded by glim glammers let me explain. I'm not entirely against her character or the developments she's made since season 6. I'm just more dissatisfied with her motivation for her actions. In her first appearence in season 5, Starlight is introduced as this communist cult leader to a barren town in the middle of nowhere. Afterwards, she appears again the finale. Attempting to rewrite history to further vengeance. All because she was too lazy to pick up a pen and write. Or at the very least, visit her friend in Canterlot during his studies. Yeah. All those years wasted after such a simple solution. Thank Luna you make a better hero than a villain.

5. Trixie-
So once again, we have another character driven by a small amount of negative feelings. All because somepony was better than her. Which, in a way, made her such a minor threat in the ffirst place. Alicorn Amulet or not, Trixie will never be the kind of threat she thiks she is. Excluding of course the fan canons.

Alright! This concludes todays Top 5. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also, don't forget to follow us for more updates. Got a suggestion for a review?
