Finding Home by Krickis

Today, we see how true love comes in all shapes and sizes. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. Finding Home is a romantic drama fanfic written by Krickis. A fanfic writer best known for their Who We Become story series. Written as a sequel to an earlier fic, Finding Home follows Sunset Shimmer during her life after high school. Two years after graduation, Sunset decides it's time to move on. After writing ahead, Sunset takes a long awaited journey back home to Equestria. Intent on making a new start. Can she manage it? Or will her past be her undoing?

Okay, to start off I loved this fanfic. As I stated earlier, it IS a sequel to another story entitled "Inner Strength" but can also be treated as a standalone story. More so since much of the story fills in most of the missing pieces. Though I'd still recommend reading the prequel first for more clarity.

I absolutely have to hand it to Krickis and they're ability to give characters so much depth. Especially in characters like Sunset, Luna, and even Fluttershy to an extent. All three of which play key roles in what has to be the most emotionally scarring yet inspirational story I've ever read.

I think the best of the story, imo, has to be its positive message about love and the various forms it can take. Whether it be true love or a blossoming admiration. Love in all its forms can either be a comforting dream or a tragic nightmare depending on how the world views it.

Alright! This concludes my review of Finding Home by Krickis. A beatiful tale filled with both tragedy and romance. I highly recommend this to all my readers. I give this story a 10 / 10.
