Top 5 Unsolved Mysteries of MLP: Part 2

HELLOOO and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. Today, we're digging deep into MLP's unexplained once again. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, don't hesitate to let me know. Reminder, this will not feature any specific order and should not be treated as such. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

So, as you all recall, not so long ago I made a top 5 list regarding 5 unsolved mysteries in MLP. Well with the recent development regarding season 7 I felt it might be time to revise my earlier list. Note, some choices may have been solved in recent episodes but still have some missing information. With that said, on with the show:

1. Where are the Apple parents?-
Yes. I know about the episode Perfect Pear. Yes I know it introduced both parents. But! It didn't explain where they are now. True we now know a bit about them, but until Hasbro comes forward with an explanation fans will still be left wonderin the same question.

2. Where are the royal sisters from?-
Of course this question is still be asked. Aside from Flurry Heart, Luna and Celestia are the only natural born alicorns in Equestria. As far as we know the solar siblings took over only after dealing with the lord of chaos alone. Beyond that, there is still no known record of their birthplace or, let alone, birth parents. Unfortunately, after the birth of Princess Flurry Heart fans have become conflicted over the Journal of th Two Sisters and the show's main canon.

3. Can ponies die in MLP?-
This one, though morbid in thought, also relates to my number one mystery. Now, we know that in Equestrian lore both Luna and Celestia are both supposedly immortal in nature. That in mind, what about everypony else? We've seen characters age and we've even seen others grow up overtime. But aside from a brief moment there's been hardly any reference to death in MLP. Of course, the reason is it's a kids show. But there have childrens movies and shows that often mention or portray death in its normal aspects.

4. Will Sunset return to Equestria?-
This is less of a mystery and more or less hopeful wishing. Now, granted, Sunset DID make a brief appearance in the recent short titled "Movie Magic". But the question still remains. Will Sunset return to Equestria? Personally, I still think it's a possibility.

5. Could there be a 7th Element of Harmony?-
With the recent developments in season 7 and the events of "Too Where and Backk Again", there's been speculation of Starlight possibly inheriting a 7th unknown Element of Harmony. Similar to how Sunset became an element bearer in the human world. There are possible signs that point to it happening. But it all really depends on the Season 7 finale and whatever they have planned following it.
