[Season 2] Episode 12: Family Appreciation Day...oh yay

Family Appreciation Day is the 12th episode of season 2 and the 38th overall. Written by Cindy Morrow, this episode features the Apple family  during the biggest harvest ever. With the Zap Apple Harvest upon them, Apple Bloom and her family get ready for a busy season. All the while, Apple Bloom tries to keep Granny Smith from attending Family Appreciation Day at the schoolhousr. Can Apple Bloom save her pride? Or is she in for a big surprise?

I'm actually really surprised. This episode was pretty hilarious. Though, I'm not 100% sure it's what Cindy or was initially going for. Regardless, the episode was decently humorous and fun.

I think the immediate lesson in this episode sorta fits the title. Appreciate the family you have. Sure they can be embarrassing sometimes. But at the end of the day they're still your family.

Hmm.. I'm not completely sure where this episode went bad. The humor was family friendly. The moral was heartwarming. And even the cast was.... wait....Where were Twilight and the others? ...Huh. No wonder this episode was more family oriented.

Alright! This concludes my review of Family Appreciation Day. I think this was a wholesome episode. And I recommend it for all my readers with young children. I give this episode a modest 9 / 10.
