To Love God - To Love Mortal

To Love God - To Love Mortal is a dramatic romance fancomic by the artist Vavacung. Adapted from a similar fanfic, it features Celestia as she struggles find a long lost love. The story begins with Princess Celestia vanishing. Leaving Luna to take her place. All the while, a familiar unicorn filly with a pink mane enrolls in a nearby school. There she befriends a tomboy named Paper Mache. As time goes on the two begin to grow close and Paper develops feelings for the mysterious mare. Does she feel the same way? Or will the mares secret tear the two apart?

I..love this comic. Vavacung is an amazing artist and writer. From the artstyle to the writing. This comic and it's fanfic oozed raw emotion and desire. It puts a lot effort into grabbing the readers attention without resorting to low brow tactics.

The most emotion part about is the lesson about how love can be a difficult experience. Even immortals like Celestia. It can build us up strong and it can also tear us down. But as the old saying goes, Tis better to have loved and lost than to never love at all.

Surprisingly, there are no negatives to this comic. Compared to IDW and other canon issues, this fan creation blows the competition away. Of course it only gets better in the sequels and spin - offs. But those are a review for another day.

Alright! This concludes my first fan review. Ultimately, this is an amazing comic inside and out. I highly recommended you check it and its sequel out as well as the rest of Vavacungs other amazing content. I give this fancomic a 10 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review.
