Yu - Gi - Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time

HELLOOO and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. It's time rev it up and get your game on as we take a look at a worldwide phemoena. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

Yu - Gi - Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time, aka Yu - Gi - Oh! The Movie: Super Fusion! Bonds That Transcend Time, is a 3D film starring the shows first 3 protagonists, Yusei Fudo, Jaden Yuki, and Yugi Muto. It marked the 10th anniversary of the illustrious series. In it, after losing his prized card, Stardust Dragon, to the maniacal Paradox Yusei is lead through time by the Crimson Dragon to stop the villain before history can be altered. To do so he enlists the help of two legendary duelists, Yugi and Jaden. Can their combined might stop Paradox's plans? Or have the heroes met their match?

Wow. This film at the time was history in the making. Set before the climax of 5Ds it was a culmination of hard work and dedication from loyal fans that made it possible. Originally, previews for the film began on July 1, 2009. A mere 6 months before it's release in Japan. The dub following almost a year later.

Honestly, I loved the film because of its positive message to new and old fans and players. The bonds we make through the game are strong enough to withstand the test of time. Since the shows release Yu - Gi - Oh! the card game has been a popular past time for all ages. Of course the game's gone through quite a few changes since then.

Although the film had a major following on the week of its release it still suffered from a significant amount of problems. These mostly included simple animation errors and bad audio in the dub. Common issues when translating large projects across the globe.

Alright! This concludes my review of Yu - Gi - Oh! Bonds Beyond Time. Ignoring the small issues it was a great film for what it's worth. I wholeheartedly recommend to fans and Yu - Gi - Oh! players alike. I give this film an 8.5 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did.
