Scooby Doo and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon

HELLOOO and welcome to Cultures Compendium of Reviews! As always, I am Culture Shock. Your guide to all things cultural in Equestria and beyond. Today we rev up for a royal rumble on wheels. Before we begin, let's review the rules. First off, all content within this blog is expressly the opinion of its author. It does not, nor should it ever, reflect the overall opinion of the fandom. Lastly, if any of you notice any mistakes, be it typos or otherwise, don't hesitate to let me know. With that said, let's begin. Shall we?

Scooby Doo and WWE Curse of the Speed Demon is the second movie featuring the teen slueths paired with WWE superstars. In this face paced film the team heads to WWE island to watch the all new Muscle Moto X. An all - terrain race where superstars in teams for a cash prize. After a freak attack during the first race that sidelines the late Dusty Rhodes, Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Skinnyman and Deadmeat, get paired with the deadman incarnate, The Undertaker, for a roller coaster of a race. Can they solve the Speed Demons curse? Or will Deadmans Curve claim more victims?

Alright, let me just start of by saying I loved this film. Unlike it's predecessor, Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery, this film was both fast paced and engaging. While it didn't really involve a lot of wrestling much of the action featured an array of classic WWE styles from its star studded cast.

Speaking of cast there was no shortage of familiar faces. Of course there were some fresh faces as well like Lana, Rusev, Paige, Dusty Rhodes, The Undertaker, Stardust and Goldust, Sheamus, Los Matadores and El Torito, Kofi Kingston, and even the princess of power herself Stephanie McMahon. Recurring roles included of course The Miz, Vince McMahon, and current company spokesman,Triple H.

While the movie was good there were a few...hiccups...that caught my eye. Like Michael Coles repetitive dialogue. Almost as bad as the commentator dialogue in their video games. Bust most of all there was the background scenery. Some of which seemed like rehashed art from older films. Not to mention the track looked like vague reference to the animated show, Camp WWE. Way to sell that programming Vince. Maybe now you can actually buy that island.

Alright! This concludes todays film review. A step from the first film with a few minor glitches. I recommend this to both Scooby Doo fans and WWE fans alike. I give Scooby Doo and WWE Curse of the Speed Demon a 7.5 / 10. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Be sure to leave a like if you did. Also don't forget to follow us for more updates.
